Varda Studio’s ‘AB House’ Experiments with Privacy

The AB House in Cyprus is an interesting change of pace with regards to contemporary approaches to design. The home is focused on privacy and it surely adds a strong visual embellishment to its neighborhood. Varda Studio was trusted with creating the concept for the structure and the design firm chose to make use of two materials that will, without a doubt, charge the structure with an interesting layer.

The AB House boasts metal sheers and concrete tube piping. Varda Studio stacks the latter material into two rows on the north and south side of the dwelling. The primary intent behind the feature is to “aid in privacy by limiting views from and toward the house.”
