Cultivated Meat Commercialization Initiatives

Meatable & TruMeat Embrace Commercialization Efforts

Cultivated meat technology company Meatable has entered into a strategic partnership with TruMeat, a contract manufacturer specializing in large-scale production of lab-grown meat, to accelerate the commercialization of cultivated meat products.

The collaboration between Meatable and TruMeat will focus on optimizing production processes, developing cost-effective growth media, and establishing a state-of-the-art facility in Singapore that utilizes Meatable's proprietary technology. This facility aims to achieve price parity with conventional meat while producing cultivated meat at volumes necessary for commercial distribution.

This partnership is expected to figure as a significant milestone in making cultivated meat economically viable for broader market adoption. Consumer interest in this product extends because of cultivated meat's ability to figure as a sustainable alternative to traditional livestock farming, which addresses environmental concerns such as greenhouse gas emissions, land use, and water consumption.
