Lavazza Spotlights Its Investment in Tablì
Lavazza has unveiled Tablì — a single-serve coffee system built around tabs made of 100% coffee. This marks the Italian company’s largest investment in the United States market to date.
Each Tablì tab consists solely of compressed, precisely dosed coffee grounds with no coating or additional packaging material. The tab’s concave shape allows the coffee to expand during brewing, producing a thick, persistent crema that mimics a professionally pulled espresso shot. The machine that accompanies the sustainable single-serve coffee system is designed in Italy and made available in three colors. The appliance features a bean-shaped slider for one-touch operation and can be paired with a milk frother for lattes and cappuccinos.
After five years of research and development resulting in over 15 patents, the Tablì system debuts in five blend — Super Crema, Espresso, Double Espresso, Lungo, and Decaf.
