Drybar revolutionized the blowout industry and now its founders are looking to do the same for the massage industry with a new chain by the name of 'Squeeze.'
Self-care is not seen as a luxury by Millennials, but a priority. As such, many innovative self-care products and services have been launched over the past few years—yet the massage industry has remained largely unchanged. While there are on-demand apps that help consumers book a same-day at-home or in-office appointment, this is usually the extent that technology assists in the experience.
Squeeze plans to set itself apart with an app that's comparable to Uber or Postmates that will let users conveniently share payments and tips, as well as specify the part of the body that they would like to focus the session on. The first Squeeze location is set to open in early 2019 in Los Angeles.
