The Canadian International AutoShow (CIAS) is set to return from February 14 to February 23 and the event features a standout exhibit by the LEGO Group — the North American debut of a life-size LEGO® Technic™ McLaren P1™. This impressive model is constructed with over 340,000 LEGO Technic pieces. It is billed as a first-of-its-kind model as it is capable of steering and completing a full lap on a racetrack.
Visitors can view the life-size LEGO® Technic™ McLaren P1™ alongside the actual McLaren P1. The exhibit emphasizes remarkable engineering and attention to detail. The LEGO Group’s booth will also include interactive activities such as a LEGO Play Area for children, a LEGO® F1® Showcase, and a special media event with LEGO Technic designer Lubor Zelinka and McLaren Vehicle Line Manager Jonathan Beaumont, who will share insights into the creation of this groundbreaking model.
