The Italian photographer captured the shots somewhere between Milan and Genoa in Italy. The series fixates on the various types of structures found at a carnival or a fairground. Set apart from anything else in a background of stark nothingness, it makes the normally inviting and fun structures seem lonely and estranged.
The closed-down carnival structures appear to stand in an almost abandoned, post-apocalyptic existence where no one wants to go on the rides or play the games. All of the structures in the context of a bright and busy carnival or fairground are usually friendly and enticing, however with no one and nothing around each structure they appear almost haunted.
