Emilio Alarcón presents her new collection of images dubbed 'Machines that listen to human conversations.' The series of images are AI-generated using the platform MidJourney. The concept is to try to highlight the conversation of the relationship between man and machine in a poetic and subtle manner. The entire series of visuals that were created are hyper-realistic and although it is much like other tools.
The art process was very much guided and led by human creativity first and foremost. The photos center around ideas including steampunk-like machines that are seamlessly incorporated into a human lifestyle. It can be seen in the midst of the streets or sidewalks along urban environments. In some photos, humans are interacting with the machines, and in others, some are not.
