The 800 Series Diamond D5 Has Seven High-Performance Loudspeaker Models

The 800 Series Diamond D5 is the latest flagship loudspeaker range from Bowers & Wilkins. Developed as the fifth generation of the company's Diamond series, the collection includes seven models ranging from the compact 805 D5 stand-mount speaker to the 801 D5 with twin 10-inch bass drivers. The range continues the brand's True Sound philosophy and retains key design elements such as the aluminum Turbine Head, which isolates the midrange driver from the main cabinet. The speakers are handcrafted in Worthing, England and were introduced as part of the company's 60th anniversary celebrations.

The D5 range incorporates several engineering updates across the lineup. Space Frame Bracing adds parallel aluminum rails connected to the rear Matrix cabinet structure to increase rigidity. Revised aluminum top plates support the Turbine Head and Solid Body Tweeter assemblies, and crossover components are mounted externally on aluminum rails at the rear of the cabinet.
