The 800 Series Diamond D5 is the latest flagship loudspeaker range from Bowers & Wilkins, introduced as the fifth generation of the company’s Diamond Dome tweeter platform. Developed over nearly 60 years of audio engineering, the lineup includes seven models ranging from the stand-mounted 805 D5 to the flagship 801 D5, along with dedicated center-channel speakers for home theater applications. The new range combines extensive acoustic, mechanical, and electrical refinements with updated industrial design, including four finishes: Stealth Black, Warm White, Light Walnut, and Dark Walnut.
The collection incorporates several new technologies designed to reduce vibration and improve sound accuracy. These include Space Frame Bracing, an upgraded aluminum top plate, Enhanced Matrix cabinet reinforcement, revised plinths with tuned-mass damping, and improved crossover assemblies. The 804 D5 also introduces a new internal aluminum enclosure for its Continuum Cone FST midrange driver.
