The Faceboard Project by portrait expert Mike Larremore enables viewers to take in a range of human emotions and expressions. In each image central to the project, 16 snapshots of Larremore's subjects are placed next to one another, giving way to emotionally charged sets.

Several states of mind and feelings speak for themselves in the Faceboard Project. Larremore opted to do away with the use of props or colorful backdrops, instead focusing solely on the men and women he photographed for the series. Given the highly expressive result, it is apparent that a bare essentials approached was all that was required to bring this undertaking to life.

From happiness to anger to surprised to utter despair, all human states are certainly represented in these pictures.
