At 'Star Wars Celebration Europe' in London, the official 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' display includes models of brand new spacecraft designs that will be featured in the upcoming movie. Though miniature models rather than full-sized replicas of the fantasy vehicles, the ships nonetheless turned heads at the London gathering.
Rogue One unveiled exclusively villainous machinery at Star Wars Celebration Europe, with two new spacecraft designs. The generic TIE Striker plays off of the design of the TIE Fighters from the original Star Wars series in the 70s, revamping to a leaner and quicker looking layout. The other flying craft is called Krennic's Imperial Shuttle. Krennic is set to be one of the main antagonists in the upcoming film, and his spacecraft design reflects that menace with steep black wings and an ominous hood.
Though these models are the stuff fantasy, the attention they're receiving shows consumers' passion for well-presented fictional narratives.
