Soho House Mumbai is the latest addition to the hotel chain and the first Asian outpost of the design-focused brand. Created by the in-house design team at Soho House Mumbai, the unique space features pattern-heavy interiors inspired by regional crafts and textiles. The hotel itself is situated in an eleven-story building in the city's affluent Juhu neighborhood, which also plays host to a number of Bollywood celebrities.
The hotel itself comes packed with 38 guest bedrooms, a cinema, two restaurants and a rooftop pool. Soho House Mumbai also plays host to a members-only club that contains fixtures and soft furnishings that were either sourced locally or boast traditional Indian patterns. The use of traditional aesthetics allows the space to become a physical manifestation of the country it is in, while also paying homage to its cultural and historical heritage.
