adidas Originals & Willy Chavarria joined forces on May 8th to celebrate the launch of their 'Spring/Summer 2025' collection, bringing together Los Angeles’s creative community for an event that honored Chicano heritage and intergenerational storytelling. Held at the adidas Melrose store, the experience spotlighted themes of love, legacy, and identity through immersive moments, including a zine signing by photographer Carlos Jaramillo, traditional food and drinks, and live tattooing by El Clasico Tattoos.
The campaign, photographed by Jaramillo, features a culturally rich cast including adidas athletes Candace Parker and Skyy Clark, alongside Mexican actor Alejandro Speitzer. Through fashion and photography, the project uplifts the lived experiences and stylistic legacy of Chicano communities, merging sport and streetwear with powerful emotional resonance.
Available in two drops, the 'SS25 adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria' collection includes archival silhouettes like the Jabbar Lo and expressive pieces such as the 'Chicano Sweatshirt' and 'Wide Leg Trackpant.' The first release is now live across select adidas locations, online, and at global retailers, with Drop 2 arriving July 10.
