Sherry-Finished Scotch Whiskies

The Dalmore Aged 17 Years Boasts Alluringly Complex Flavors

The Dalmore — a Highland single malt Scotch whisky distillery renowned for its mastery of sherry cask maturation — has introduced The Dalmore Aged 17 Years to its Principal Collection in the United States. This product marks the first new addition to this lineup since 2022 and represents the deepest exploration of sherry finishing within the portfolio.

The Dalmore Aged 17 Years begins its maturation in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels to develop a foundation of soft vanilla and honey, before being finished in a carefully curated trilogy of aged sherry casks — Amoroso, rare Apóstoles, and Matusalem Oloroso — each hand-selected exclusively from the distillery's long-standing partnership with González Byass. This relationship grants access to some of the world's most prized sherry casks.
