Glengoyne Whisky, a brand celebrated for its meticulous slow distillation process, has launched the White Oak Range as the first installment in its newly introduced Oak Masters’ Series. This collection features two expressions — the Glengoyne White Oak, now a permanent addition to the core range, and the limited-edition White Oak 24-Year-Old. Both spirits are matured exclusively in American Ex-Bourbon and Virgin Oak casks.
The White Oak Range marks a significant departure from Glengoyne’s traditionally sherry-forward profile. The new series is inspired by the annual migration of geese to the distillery’s namesake valley. As such, the range symbolizes a journey of exploration and mastery over oak’s influence on whisky.
The Glengoyne White Oak presents a fresh flavor profile that's already garnered recognition. It stands out with a profile of citrus, oak, and spice that is complemented by a palette of crème brûlée, candied lemon, and tropical fruit. The White Oak 24-Year-Old, on the other hand, offers a deeper, more complex experience, with notes of vanilla, honey, tropical fruits, and spiced pastries, culminating in a rich finish of toffee apple and citrus.
