Josmo Opened Up a Contemporary Flagship Store in Mumbai

Goan furniture imprint Josmo has opened up a flagship store located in Mumbai and it was designed by its own founder Anjali Mody. The design notion was to create a contemporary approach to 'Indian design craft.' The store is one of the first locations outside of Goa, which is where it was founded in 2010.

Mody designed the retail space in a way that aligns with a brand style that she has described to be "witty, elegant and unapologetically unique." She explains to Dezeen, "We wanted it to feel like stepping into a world where every detail whispers Josmo. Think sculptural forms, earthy textures and just the right amount of drama. It's warm, immersive and bold – a space where every piece tells its own story but still feels part of a bigger narrative."
