Microsoft Stream is Microsoft's new video sharing component for the work place. The service allows users to easily upload and share videos with colleagues. Stream will eventually merge with Office 365 Video service to create a consistent video sharing experience.
According to Microsoft, "Microsoft Stream enables organizations and employees to communicate and collaborate with video more easily." Anyone with a business email can utilize the service within their company. Stream will have trending videos, a way to search for liked videos and the ability to follow specific video channels. It will also be possible to embed videos onto company sites. The aim is a product that offers the video sharing capabilities of YouTube but with the security components that businesses look for in company products.
