Popcorn's New App Lets Coworkers Connect Via Short Recorded Videos

A new startup called Popcorn just launched a platform where users can send short video messages to their coworkers.

The company sought to create a video messaging platform that was appropriate for a work environment. Popcorn lets users record video messages for their coworkers - and can be used in the place of an email, text, or Slack message. Popcorn is the perfect way to send a quick hello or check in to a colleague and is much more convenient than drafting a wordy email or text. Popcorn is also a great way to network. Instead of sending a long-winded LinkedIn message, Popcorn lets a user send a personalized and friendly video message.

Popcorn is free to download on iOS devices and offers a Slack integration.
