The New Referential Transparency Collection Prepares for SS19

Sartorial label HELIOT EMIL by brothers Victor and Julius Juul launch its latest Referential Transparency collection in time for the Spring/Summer 2019 season. The provocative designs are inspired by the underground culture of Copenhagen, capturing the same retrofuturistic concepts that the brand often embodies.

The new collection turns its attention to computer programming concepts and the expression that references " “a function is said to be referentially transparent if it’s replaceable.” This is translated through a variety of fabrication secured by Japanese-manufactured hardware. Some of the unique fabrication that is incorporated throughout the entire collection include heat-sensitive thermos in gray, black, or more and semi-translucent white hues. Notably, the silhouettes this season begin to broaden out, stepping into the territory of womenswear for Spring/Summer 2019.
