Architect Gordon Walker takes on the design task of creating a bright mid-century condo in Capitol Hill, Seattle -- the home is designed by the team at SHED Architecture & Design. This project came to life to celebrate his original vision when he was adapting the home to meet the standards of modern living.
The owner was drawn to the calm views of the forested area and how close it was to Volunteer Park. This made it optimal for going on daily walks with his two dogs, Chela and Bosco. The remodel aimed to preserve the original design notions with a focus on creating a close connection to nature and form something that has a harmonious feeling.
