SHED Architecture & Design has remodeled the Gordon Walker House in Seattle just on the edge of the Sr. Mark's Greenbelt by the bright Capitol Hill neighborhood. The condo was first built in 1979 and was designed by renowned architect Gordon Walker.
The co-founder of Olson Walker left his legacy and this project hoped to honor his original vision when adapting the home to a modern living aesthetic. The owner of the home was initially attached to the serene views of the lush forest around the home as it is near Volunteer Park. The framework also remained strong with most of the work in the interiors, garnered to meet a more modern need in terms of design and function.
