The Lucid drone was designed to clean the exterior of buildings. The Lucid company is based out of North Carolina and it will begin to rent out its Lucid drone to companies for a fee of $3000 a month. That price includes any training and maintenance needs that arise with the drone.
The drone does not use pressure washing on buildings, instead, it does what is called a "soft wash," which is done by spraying a building with a cleaning solution that is biodegradable. The drone is also attached to a water tank. The drone is battery-powered, however, Lucid intends to also create a tethered power option. The drone will be able to work on buildings that are approximately 12 stories high.
