Top 45 Architecture Trends in July

The top July 2019 architecture designs explore everything from greenhouse cities and houses styled just like apartment building complexes to buildings that appear inside-out and housing subscriptions.

At the same time there is much interest in the design of Martian dwellings, architects and designers here on Earth are also taking inspiration from otherworldly aesthetics to create imaginative 3D-printed structures, cabins and futuristic travel ports.

For the sake of simplicity, cost savings and a modern aesthetic, a variety of architectural structures are being created with intentionally pared-back designs, some of which highlight the beauty of industrial materials like steel and engineered wood. One of the best examples of this is the Beyond the Shell project, which creates homes that are "completed up to the point where they fulfill the minimum requirements for habitation."
