This Curved Apartment Interior reorganises a Taichung residence by replacing straight walls with curved and angled forms that shift how daylight moves through the space. The renovation opens several exterior facades so natural light enters from more than one direction, and shallow dome ceilings help distribute illumination evenly across the interior. The original enclosed rooms are removed and replaced with linked areas defined by ceiling geometry and integrated lighting. The white surfaces maintain consistent reflection while avoiding harsh shadow edges.
The updated layout creates pentagon-shaped zones that connect without hallways, allowing living, dining and circulation to blend into one open environment. Hidden lighting follows the curved boundaries to keep the lines clean. The new configuration improves airflow by allowing cross ventilation and eliminates the deep central block typical of older apartment plans. The result is an interior that feels brighter and larger through form and light rather than added square footage.
