Hacienda Wabi by RA! is Situated in Tulum's Jungles

— July 28, 2025 — Eco
Hacienda Wabi by RA! is a thoughtful residential architecture that harmoniously blends built environments with natural landscapes. Situated in the jungles of Tulum, this residential complex draws inspiration from ancient ruins while employing contemporary sustainable practices to create a living space that appears to organically emerge from its surroundings.

The design features fifteen apartments spread across three levels, each offering unique outdoor amenities — private gardens and pools on the ground floor, terraces with jacuzzis on the first floor, and rooftop gardens with elevated jungle views on the upper level. A central courtyard, fragmented into smaller green spaces and winding pathways, fosters a sense of seclusion while encouraging communal interaction around shared areas like the swimming pool.

The thoughtful residential architecture project’s material palette emphasizes regional resources, including locally sourced stone and Chukum, a traditional Mayan stucco made from tree resin and sand, which enhances natural light reflection and minimizes environmental impact. Passive design strategies, such as cross ventilation and strategic stepped volumes, ensure thermal comfort without excessive energy use, complemented by rooftop solar panels.
