The Casa MRGT unveils a Multi Level Residence Within an Industrial Building

— November 26, 2025 — Art & Design
The Casa MRGT is a loft-style home by Lamatilde set inside a converted industrial structure in Turin. The interior keeps exposed concrete, steel elements and large open volumes while adding new geometric partitions that define living zones. The ground floor functions as a garage for a private car collection, with access to the upper levels provided by a steel staircase and a private lift. The second floor contains an open living area with a kitchen, dining space and tall windows that bring daylight into the central rooms. Surfaces alternate between metal, concrete and smooth finishes to create a contrast between raw structure and clean interior fittings.

The upper floors include bedrooms and bathrooms arranged around a central volume containing storage and circulation space. Materials remain consistent across each level to keep the overall layout coherent. The roof terrace is equipped with an outdoor kitchen, lounge seating, a sauna and a pool, all positioned within a planted perimeter. The terrace extends the industrial aesthetic into an outdoor environment with clear views across the city.
