MoDusArchitects Completed Hometown House in Italy

— December 31, 2025 — Art & Design
MoDusArchitects has completed a residential structure, dubbed Hometwon House, in Italy's Val di Non region. This project serves as a deliberate reconnection between the home's occupant and the native landscape through architectural form and materiality.

Hometwon House has a distinct V-shaped silhouette, clad in blackened larch wood. MoDusArchitects carefully integrated this structure into a rural setting using a rigorously local palette of stone and timber. The interior, on the other hand, is orchestrated to foster communal gathering and sensory nostalgia. The layout emphasizes convivial spaces as it is centered around a kitchen and living area designed for hosting.

The house appeals to the desire for authenticity and meaningful connection to place, offering a case study in how modern living can respectfully engage with tradition.
