Top 60 Architecture Trends in February

From Futuristic Science Museums to Pooled Roof Stadiums:

The top February 2016 architecture trends showcase a number of shifts that point to the future of design.

Part of Rio de Janeiro's Porta Maravilhosa urban redevelopment plan, the recently opened Museum of Tomorrow is a stunning architectural feat that juts out from a pier to hover above the Atlantic Ocean. Opened just in time for the 2016 Summer Olympics to be hosted by the city, the stunning structure is sure to be a fixture through the year and beyond.

Separately, the Four Seasons Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru recently installed an idyllic wedding pavilion that floats in the center of the ocean. The awe-inspiring venue is quite intimate with room for only 18 people, but the views are likely to make up for the lack of space.
