Bangladeshi architect Marine Tabassum has created a Capsule in Time pavilion which is full of light and the structure is made from wood and polycarbonate panels. It is a part of the 2025 Serpentine Pavilion designs and boasts a partially sheltered design. It is crafted from four arched timber builds and carefully organized around a central courtyard.
The design aims to celebrate summer with full-height openings welcoming air and light flow. Tabassum explains more on the design, "We started from designing the afterlife. How do we imagine this building to be in its second life, which is probably the much longer period of its life in that sense? We envisioned that this could be a beautiful library, so hopefully, wherever it goes, it has that capacity to become that."
