MDAD & TODOS Arquitetura Present the Modern Casa Una

— June 18, 2025 — Eco
Casa Una, a versatile community hub within Uberlândia’s Parque Una development, exemplifies thoughtful architectural design that prioritizes sustainability, adaptability, and social engagement. Designed by MDAD Arquitetura e Design in collaboration with TODOS Arquitetura, the structure serves as a dynamic space for cultural, commercial, and educational activities that promise to foster connections between visitors, residents, and urban planners.

The defining feature of the versatile community hub is the sweeping glulam timber roof, which extends beyond the building’s footprint to create shaded transitional areas that blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces. Inside, the layout balances functionality with aesthetic cohesion, featuring exposed wood surfaces, flexible furniture arrangements, and an open mezzanine overlooking a central lake. Additionally, the project emphasizes environmental responsibility through passive cooling, cross ventilation, and renewable materials.
