The Photography Seoul Museum of Art, also known as PhotoSeMA has just opened its doors this past month and it is designed by the collaborative works of Australian firm Jadriv Architektur and Korean firm 1990uao Architects. The dynmaic museum is defined by its twisted facade which functions as the main landmark. It marks the fluidity and transformative nature of literal photographs.
The Photography Seoul Museum of Art has six levels -- four of which are above ground and two are below. It has a total area of 7,048 square meters with an emphasis on the connection between light and space. The large surfaces are made with concrete, and it pairs with the filtered lighting to induce introspection and art appreciation.
