Top 30 Eco Architecture Trends in 2020

These 2020 eco architecture trends range from green residential towers to all-timber neighborhoods.

When it comes to the year's most notable residential design projects, standouts include the Tiny Housing Co 'Natura' home and the 'Tiny Tetra House.' While Natura is a sustainable, open concept home housing a king-sized bed, functional kitchen, fireplace and upper mezzanine, the Tiny Tetra House is a "prefabricated tiny home designed by Stilt Studios as a new take on conventional architecture that aims to create a living space with recycled materials."

Other 2020 eco architecture innovations to note include the Converse City-Forests campaign. The campaign consists of pollution-absorbing building murals that are designed to "attract and convert airborne pollutants into harmless nitrate" in an attempt to plant more trees in areas where they wouldn't normally grow. In addition to featuring a new patented paint formula, the murals have air cleaning capabilities that match that of 1400+ trees.
