Located in a 248-square-foot flat, the design by BETH X EPISTĒMĒ STUDIO uses okoumé wood for a sculptural platform that can transform into a bed, dining table, or desk while concealing generous storage beneath. This single anchored feature allows the rest of the layout to remain open and uncluttered, giving the compact home both elegance and practicality.
Furnishings are designed with dual purposes: a bookshelf doubles as a headboard, a retractable desk slides into hidden storage, and a wall-mounted Murphy bed clears floor space at night. The material palette combines light wood, matte plywood, polished concrete, and touches of aged brass to create a warm, minimal interior.
