It was important to preserve the historic soul of the location as it was once Napoleon Bonaparte's office space. This served as a strong influence of the renovation project as he wanted to honor the heritage and introduce a contemporary twist.
Poggioli shares the process with Dezeen, noting "It was an opportunity to merge my passion for minimalism with the grandeur of Napoleon-era architecture. The goal was not just to restore but to allow these historical elements to shine once more in a contemporary context, while also bringing forth the voice of our generation, our era, through my intervention."
