21 Domed Architecture Pieces

From Latticed Rotundas to Space-Age Art Centers:

In a minimalist and design-conscious society, dramatically domed architecture pieces are becoming a popular decorative addition to establishing concrete jungles.

In early architecture, the most prominent examples of domed pieces are in the temples of the ancient Middle East. Until recently, modern day largely saw stadiums or athletic centres that were dutifully domed, but now the structures have stretched to accommodate government building, greenhouses and even swimming pools. It seems to be the easiest way to set a building apart in a simply conceptualized, yet stately way.

The domed look also dips in and out of fashion, but given an aesthetically inclined generation that values the sleek, uniform look, it has the potential of becoming the choice design of architects today.
