The top 2015 branding trends showcase a variety of progressions that speak to shifting consumer values and how that relates to purchasing decisions. From artisan-inspired branding that conflates a product with a sense of homespun charm to unexpected experiential delights in the form of pop-up events, there are plenty of examples from 2015 that point to future trends for the year ahead.
One such example is Coca-Cola's gamified recycling program set up during this year's Rugby World Cup. Located in the fan zones of the World Cup stadium, the machine dispenses drinks via a smile-activated vending system and then guests are invited to compete to see how many bottles they can recycle in 60-seconds.
