Implications - The early adopters of cold brewed coffee have graduated from purchasing to making their own brew at home. In fact, the connoisseur consumer is determined to replicate every artisanal method of brewing at home, viewing every variation as a challenge. Ready-made and pre-packaged forms of cold coffee will have to learn to compete with a growing culture of food and beverage education, as well as DIY.
