Now that the Beijing Olympics have passed, China is not nearly as much on the media radar as before, particularly with regards to new buildings and architectural innovations. 

While the structures erected in Beijing are tremendous—and will no doubt influence new global architecture—there are highly noteworthy pieces being built in other metropolitans in China like Shanghai.
