Industrial New York Showrooms

Vitra Opened a Showroom in New York's Chinatown

Vitra has just opened a showroom located in a loft nestled just over the Manhattan Bridge gateway in Chinatown. The space functions as a retail and events space filled with new and classic products by the brand. The space is found on the third floor at 46 Bowery and it has been altered into a hub to serve for Vitra and Artek teams.

Till Weber, the creative director of interiors and scenography at Vitra explains, "With the renovation of the space, we stripped the interior back to the essential elements, emphasising the open concept and embracing the stunning views and natural light. The industrial infrastructure of the ceiling is exposed in a repeating grid-like pattern, while a new, light gray concrete floor provides a serene backdrop."
