Implications - The price of low voltage lighting has come down dramatically, leading to the rapid death of the incandescent lightbulb. Although eco lights aren't cheaper to buy, they're cheaper to run. People can comfortably think of longer term benefits as reduced prices mean LED and other eco lighting options are now within price reach.
