The Edge Table Lamp by Liquidesign was inspired by the company’s previous design of the Edge Chandelier. Both pieces, which can be seen in the gallery, are anything but subtle. Minimalist designers beware, Liquidesign does not have your best interests in mind.
The Edge Table Lamp is neither cheap nor ridiculously expensive at 250 pounds. The price does seem steep, however, when you consider that the Edge Table Lamp is constructed with cardboard. The chandelier is pricey, but if you’re that interested in making a statement, you’ll find the money.
The EDGE Table Lamp is made from a light but strong cardboard. The thick corrugated edges of its Regency inspired, eight sided form have been left exposed to show the fascinating, integral structure, while the flat outside surfaces are faced in a variety of original, decorative prints for a unique modern meets traditional look.
