This self-heating mug is called ‘Vertigo,’ and it’s an eco-friendly invention that keeps your favorite food or drink warm when you need it. Just give the ‘Vertigo’ a quick crank, and it will heat your treat to the desired temperature.

Imagine being stuck in a long traffic snarl, or going on a hike. Now imagine having the confidence that when you take a sip of your precious coffee, it isn’t cold.

This miraculous device, created by Nicolas Bernal, utilizes a dynamo to produce an electrical current which heats the element inside. Other practical uses for ‘Vertigo’ include survival, disaster relief and for use in underdeveloped countries where conventional energy is not available.
