An announcement was made today that Kansas will be imposing a soda tax, charging one penny for every teaspoon of sugar in a can or bottle. I personally think this is a great idea. Sure, pop is great, but it is a drug after all, and too many people abuse it. Maybe this soda tax would help create some moderation.
Don’t get me wrong. I love the taste of pop, especially with rum, which is why I want to showcase these sweet soda finds. A soft drink is great here and there, just not every day.
