A coke-powered phone may soon be on the way to a vending machine near you. Okay, maybe not too soon, but this innovative idea from designer Daizi Zheng does deserve some attention.
Zheng's concept phone has a bio battery that creates electricity from carbohydrates. Besides being able to run on sugary beverages, the bio battery's charge lasts three to four times longer than a regular lithium battery. While a Coke-powered phone is just a concept today, it could be Coke's next big business venture tomorrow.
