Top 95 Furniture Trends in June

With all the free time on our hands due to the pandemic-enforced stay-at-home orders, designers have innovated some of the most creative works in the June 2021 furniture industry. From social distancing benches to action movie-inspired furniture, these unique furniture designs are playful yet functional.

One standout innovation is the A-Part Bench by Loukas Chandros. The idea comes out of the need for socially distanced outdoor spaces. The bench features two seating sections separated by a slatted middle section to help sitters engage in pandemic-appropriate conversations.

Another interesting furniture collection is Lebanese designer Khaled El Mays' Transformers-inspired sofa and armchairs. The handcrafted pieces look like they can unfold into giant furniture creatures, much like the Transformers film characters. While it is artistic in design, the collection's functionality remains unsacrificed.
