Sculptural Dynamic Two-Person Benches

Nanna Ditzel's Bench for Two is Rereleased by Fredericia

The sculptural Bench for Two, originally designed by Nanna Ditzel, is being rereleased by Fredericia and Danish furniture imprint A. Petersen. This is happening three decades after its original launch, and the design utilizes methods rooted in the designer's commitment to high quality and craftsmanship. A highlight is the signature red dot which is seen at the back of the sweeping backrests.

This draws elements of the Bauhaus influences from decades past. In terms of the construction, it highlights a progressive bent plywood technology, making the silhouette extremely lightweight in contrast to its size. The rerelease process worked closely with Ditzel's family in order to maintain close attention to the original design. This continues with crafting each piece in Denmark with master cabinet makers.
