GUBI Reissues the Iconic F300 Chair by Pierre Paulin

— May 16, 2025 — Art & Design
Danish design brand GUBI has brought back an archival design designed by Pierre Paulin -- the F300 chair returns from the 60s. It is now made with a sustainable angle, using recycled plastic with a new shell paired with upholstery color options. The brand also adds the special T877 side table by Paulin in new colors as well.

Benjamin Paulin explains, “The F300 perfectly embodies my father’s approach to design and the balance between sculpture, elegance, and comfort he sought in his work. It’s true that the F300 is a visually striking chair with a distinct playfulness and a strong sense of character, but it’s much more than a photogenic sculptural novelty. The design is rooted in research and a practical understanding of how people sit. Such is the F300’s shape that it is almost impossible not to relax when you sit in it.”
