Japanese designer Keiji Takeuchi has designed the Mimo modular seating system for furniture brand NaughtOne. It brings elements of beauty and function to contract furniture with a classic style described by the brand as 'low and loungey.' The seats rest on top of slim metal legs with a simple rectangular shape.
It works to create a harmonious balance with is refined and domestic in terms of its comfort. Takeuchi explains more on the notion behind the design, "I always ask, what makes people's lives more practical and what makes practicality more beautiful?" The capsule is made up of two seater sofas and three seater sofas, as well as a club chair, and low coffee tables.
