Stepped Lounge Chair Series

Bored Eye Design Unveiled the All-New Bunch Chair

Bored Eye Design introduced the Bunch chair concept by Liam de la Bedoyere designed to link without hardware, featuring a staggered back-to-seat geometry that lets units nest into one another. Each module functions as a standalone, legless lounge chair upholstered in textured bouclé, with the backrest set back and elevated to create a stepped side profile.

The connection relies on precise offsets rather than connectors: the seat of one slides into the recessed back of the adjacent unit to form a continuous sofa silhouette. Proportions keep each chair compact for small spaces, and mixing tones creates deliberate color rhythms when multiple units are joined.

For consumers, Bunch offers a buy-as-you-go path to adaptable seating that reads as intentional furniture rather than patched-together pieces. Its geometry-first approach simplifies modular living and supports trend demand for flexible, space-conscious design.
