The bold Moon Series is a dynamic new furniture collection designed by Christina Standaloft and Jay Jordan. The system includes two core pieces: the Moon Chair, which opens to a 60-degree arc, and the Moon Bench, which opens to a 120-degree arc. Both use pleated panels that slide along a wooden framework, letting users adjust the backrest position and the overall spread of the seat.
The pleated elements expand outward in a fan-like motion and can be reconfigured repeatedly without changing the underlying structure. The fixed angles are designed for combination layouts, including circular arrangements made by joining six Moon Chairs or three Moon Benches to complete 360 degrees. The series is presented as adjustable seating where the same components control footprint, orientation, and enclosure.
